I was invited to speak on a panel about South Asian American storytelling
The virtual roundtable titled Exploring South Asian American Storytelling was hosted by Nepal America Film Society. The panel consisted of filmmakers Senain Kheshgi, Amitabh Joshi, Pulkit Datta, and Bedatri Datta Choudhury. The conversation touched on how a cultural background from the Indian subcontinent influences a “South Asian” sensibility in storytelling. We also discussed how connections with South Asia remains a constant source of inspiration for South Asian American storytellers and writers.
